In mid October I was invited in Brussels for work and I spent three nights in the Belgian capital. I had not seen much of this cute city because last time I was there it was only for a few hours. This time, although I had work to do, I did manage to walk around the center and catch a bit of the vide of the city. I was really lucky with the weather, sunny and warm for Brussel’s standards in mid October, plus I had good company – always important – the awesome @stylelove so we got to make some extra shots together. Check out some of the pics below.

Late September in Lisbon
Lisbon had been on my bucket list for quite some time now and for various reasons I kept postponing my visit. But in the beginning of September I got a job offer to speak in a photography workshop, guess where? Lisbon! So, with not much hesitation I happily agreed. Thanks to Aegean airlines, there’s a direct flight from Athens which makes it all so easy. Once arriving in Lisbon, best way to go to the city is by Metro, cheap, efficient and so easy to use. We stayed near the Avenida da Liberdade and I really liked it and would definitely stay there again. I have a few Portuguese friends that I loved seeing after a long time and I thank them for showing me around this beautiful city. Loved the food, the people, the weather – nothing to complain about. Now I am planning to visit again, but this time it’s going to be a long road trip from the north of the country all the way south. Can’t wait for it! Check some of the photos I took during my visit.
Autumn in Santorini
Somehow Santorini has never lived up to the hype in my book. Perhaps this has something to do with me spending a part of my military service on this island back in 2001. It had been many years since I visited and I can say this island has changed a lot. A lot of development, many hotels and hundreds of houses have been built in areas that didn’t even exist residentially years ago. However, what has remained intact, is the amazing beauty that has made this island what it is today. A photographer’s dream, literally, everywhere you look you can snap an amazing photo. I was lucky enough to stay at Oia Mare Villas for a few days and explore beautiful Oia, one of my favorite regions on the island. It was also a good chance to test out my brand new Sony A6300! Check a selection of photos I made from my October visit in Santorini!
September in Mykonos
This year I visited Mykonos quite a few times for work and pleasure. Luckily at the very beginning of the season and even better, at the end of it. It still remains one of my favorite islands to visit as long as it’s not July or August. Here are some photos I took during my visit in mid September.
Blend In
This is a fashion editorial that we did with my talented friend Yiorgos Mesimeris in the streets of Plaka, Athens. The idea was obvious; Blending in with the ambience. Seven different minimalist looks with backgrounds to match. The gorgeous Tilde Rasmussen from D Models was in town this rainy day and Marita Politou made sure her hair and make up matched the mood.
Karpathos Interrupted
This was my third visit to the island of Karpathos in just over a year but the first time I was there in mid October. I was really looking forward to seeing my friend Popi again and also staying at her excellent Silene Villas. The weather was perfect, even better than summer and the beaches were very quiet, totally how I like them!
Rooftops & Caverns
These last few weeks have been among the busiest I’ve had for a very long time, but at the same time it’s been a very creative period for me and although very tired, I am thoroughly enjoying every second. Since I hadn’t had the time to go for some casual shooting with my friends I have gathered two sessions together, with portraits of friends I really like and I wanted to share.
A glimpse of Autumn
This past weekend some of us were feeling very wanderlust. But the forest kind. We have been having an extended summer and really needed a change of scenery from the beautiful beaches. So without any planning we all decided to go to lake Doxa in Feneos. The weather was still very sunny and bright but once we stepped into the thick forest there was a different feel, exactly what we had missed!
Karpathos revisited
I visited Karpathos in August for the first time and I absolutely fell in love with the island. Fantastic beaches throughout, strong traditions and positive people. I was wishing to go back since I came back to Athens and finally my wishes came true! I had to travel back again in late September to shoot the fantastic Silene Villas with my new gorgeous friend & owner of the hotel, Popi. Once the work was done we took some time to go swimming and shoot more photos!
Autumn in Mani
Late October in Greece is usually quite warm. Combine this with a national holiday and you have a long weekend. Long enough to drive to the south Peloponnese. Mani is one of those places I can never get bored of.
