This past weekend some of us were feeling very wanderlust. But the forest kind. We have been having an extended summer and really needed a change of scenery from the beautiful beaches. So without any planning we all decided to go to lake Doxa in Feneos. The weather was still very sunny and bright but once we stepped into the thick forest there was a different feel, exactly what we had missed!
Another visit to Feneos, but this time we had props to play around with. Weather was not perfect but matched the spooky mood we were after!
Living in the city has definitely it’s merits but, honestly, growing up is making me love and appreciate nature even more. And this time of year, to really feel the land awakening you must leave the city behind and head to the countryside.
A great location for landscape photography but also for trekking in nature. Just two hours drive from Athens, this little artificial lake is a real gem. My last visit was with my friend and landscape photographer Kostas.
